In this video, I'll show you how to knit a pretty, spring-like lace pattern using just two pattern rows. This pattern is fantastic for tops, cardigans, and sweaters and is easy to work without counting stitches. KNITTING CHART The pattern consists of 2 rows (one knit row and one purl row): Preparation row (this row is only worked once so that the right side of the cast-on will be on the front later): RS, *k1, p1*, RS Row 1 (RS): RS insert needle one stitch down into the hole under the yarn over on the left stitch and knit it, slip the stitch as if to knit it, knit the knit stitches Row 2 (WS): RS k1 (onto the left), purl 2 together through the back loop RS Note for the next two rows: Row 3 (RS): here, the knit stitches are worked first, then the stitches worked through the back loop - just follow your eye. Row 4 (WS): purl the stitches, purl the double stitch together through the back loop. Repeat rows 1 & 2 (3 & 4) continuously.
