Shortly before departure from Polderbaan (RWY 36L), a flight crew reported seeing a drone flying approximately 50 meters from the runway. The sighting was immediately reported to Air Traffic Control (ATC). As a safety precaution, aircraft preparing for departure on Polderbaan were instructed to reject takeoff (RTO), and departures were temporarily transferred to Zwanenburgbaan (RWY 36C) while authorities responded to the drone incident. A police helicopter was deployed to search the area. Once the situation was declared safe, Polderbaan reopened and traffic quickly returned to normal, resulting in a spectacular lineup of departures and arrivals. This video features several magnificent *Queens of the Skies* (Boeing 747s), the *King of the Skies* (Airbus A380), and many other impressive aircraft operating at Schiphol. At the end of the video, you'll also see an unusual sight captured while zooming in on the Sun. A small object appears to move from the lower right side toward the left before disappearing.
