2003 Mountaineer Boys State

This is a video from the 2003 American Legion Mountaineer Boys State. The footage was taken as B-Roll for an orientation video produced by West Virginia University for the program. At the American Legion Mountaineer Boys State, participants are exposed to the rights, privileges, duties, and responsibilities of a franchised citizen. The training is objective and practical with city, county, and state governments operated by the citizens elected to the various offices.
