PIZ BOE' 🏔 3.152m - Il mio capodanno è diverso

At 3,152 meters, Piz Boè is the highest mountain in the Sella Group. For those with strong legs, I recommend setting off at dawn from the Pordoi Pass to avoid the cable car traffic and enjoy Piz Boè without the crowds. The ascent to Piz Boè is one of the most famous and popular hikes in the area. The view is splendid, and it's probably the easiest 3,000-meter peak to reach. The cable car brings crowds of tourists, but the short final climb to the summit shouldn't be underestimated. This is a trail with fixed ropes in some sections. Although simple and requiring no ropes, it's not worth undertaking unless you're properly prepared and equipped. For families, I recommend visiting the area around the cable car arrival point, which offers beautiful views. Continuing towards the Forcella Pordoi refuge is easy and on a hiking trail. To continue towards the Piz Boè refuge, even without climbing to the summit, you'll need to overcome some easily accessible, but still well-equipped, sections.
