FBO 9th gen civic si (budget build) 240whp!
Mod List, Everything needed to make power out of your 9th gen si. PLM catted Downpipe- $450 Yonaka 3” Exhaust- $548 BBM short ram intake- $125 Sirimoto flex fuel kit- $320 Sirimoto big bore tb kit- $345 RBC intake manifold- $395 Alpha Injectors 550cc/rail- $405 Skunk 2 stage 1 DIC- $1,123 Type S oil pump kit- $520 Hondata- $830 Action stage 3 clutch kit- $545 —————— $5,606 Couldn’t link the forum for the KPower oil pump kit but shout out ‘Cam’ back in 2020 for linking that in the forums, I even emailed the company and they said they never installed these on a 9th gen civic si before but they have installed one on a z7. 2019 a forum user SoFlaFB6 posted these numbers: 234/191 (FBO/E85/Hondata) “New numbers as of last weekend. FBO/Type S Oil Pump/E85/Port&Polished RBC” only thing he’s missing is the cams to be at or over 240whp. & big props to milmast, if it wasn’t for his videos I would have never known I had my P0 code that ended up being a stretched chain. All these parts are budget friendly, literally the cheapest 9th gen parts you can acquire, I installed everything myself besides the clutch and oil pump, I had a close friend of mine help me pull the motor and swap out those parts. I did not pay a dime on installation, most of you will have to pay a shop or someone to instal the oil pump or even the cams alone so these parts will help u save money for that. I bought almost all my parts on sale, if you can wait till they have a sale due to season or holidays I’d highly recommend that so y’all can save some coin, I also used every discount code I could by using Honey on my browser, some parts I even bought from eBay cause it is sometimes just a lot more cheaper buying from there, and there is nothing wrong with used parts, my flex fuel kit was used and the metal piece that bolts to the car was bent but I made it work still. Last thing on my list is a new upgraded fuel pump.. Some of the codes I used were ‘Theboywiththehonda’ for the alpha injectors and Action Clutch ‘Zoovie’ also has the same discounts, id try either to see if they work. I honestly just looked up every content creator for the 9th gen platform to see if they had codes for the parts I was buying. My friend said a job like the oil pump and clutch job originally would run someone $800-1000 so definitely try and save some money on the parts you are buying.
