36 Frames of Kodak Ektacolor 400 Pro in San Jose | Leica MP
I take a fresh roll of Ektacolor 400 Pro to downtown San Jose the night. Chasing what was left of daylight using my Leica MP and the new 7Artisans 35mm f/2.8 M-mount lens. Ektacolor 400 Pro is Kodak’s newly rebranded distribution of Portra 400, same emulsion, new box. I figured it was the right roll to bring through a city that’s spent the last century reinventing itself too. The 7Artisans 35mm f/2.8 is completely new to me and came along for the outing. I was in San Jose for a wedding and ended up spending the evening walking downtown, photographing Hotel De Anza, neon marquees, passing planes, and whatever else found me during one roll of film and the last hour of daylight.
