The rest area is between Goulburn and Canberra. Derrick VC Rest Area is a free campsite in a spot nestled into the bushland just off the main road in Boxers Creek, NSW. There is a main road nearby, but not too noisy. The grass and gravel sites are large and level, there are two drop toilets, picnic tables, plus a convict-built bridge which is definitely worth a little exploration.
