In episode #3, Joanna and Jason continue their dissection of major intermediary organizations and funders in the nonprofit journalism sector pushing independent news publishers to adopt so-called "AI" in our newsrooms ... in the face of strong evidence that it is killing the traffic to our news sites. Specifically, last week the Institute for Nonprofit News (INN) sent an email to member news outlets basically embracing Google's ongoing push away from traditional search in favor of the AI summaries that keep people on Google rather than on our news sites.
