Brassagem APA - American Pale Ale
We brewed 100 liters of American Pale Ale (APA), letting the malt mash for 7 hours. We used 20 kg of malt: 8 kg of Pilsner malt, 8 kg of Pale Ale malt, and 4 kg of Munich malt. After 30 minutes of boiling, we added 50 g of Summit hops for bitterness, and in the final 10 minutes, we added 50 g of Mosaic hops and 50 g of Amarillo hops. In this beer, we reused the US-05 yeast slurry from the American IPA we had made previously.
