❓ What professions will be in demand in the future? This question was posed to Andrey Kurpatov by students of the third stages of the Academy of Meaning. We currently find ourselves in a very difficult situation. Its complexity stems from the fact that we don't understand the future behavior of the economy and its technological arsenal. Therefore, predicting which specific professions will be in demand is extremely difficult. At the same time, it is crucial to understand and monitor the trends in the global economy. These trends help us navigate current developments, make forecasts, and guide our professional development. Currently, businesses that rely on artificial intelligence in one way or another are valued in the tens of trillions of dollars—this includes large language models, cloud solutions, chips, robotics, and so on. For now, this is just a development that has not yet resulted in anything functional. But very soon, this will definitely happen and will change our reality beyond recognition. Whatever the outcome, we will have to deal with process automation, new technologies, and people who will have a hard time psychologically adapting to the coming technological transformation, when AI becomes an integral part of our lives.
