Mini-Junk Journals: Using the side flaps from cardboard boxes to create fun & easy mini-journals!

Welcome to my channel! I appreciate you stopping by 🙂 In this video, I take a break from my three vintage book projects to create fun and easy mini-junk journals from side panels of cardboard boxes. I chose to decorate all three journals in neutral tones with a little splash of color. The journal covers are layered with varied textures, including lace, book or music pages, and a stamped image. Each journal has one signature curated from paper scraps, because we all have paper scraps 😂 I used different methods to “sew” in the signatures: one journal has the signature sewn in with a three-hole pamphlet stitch, another one has the signature secured with elastic, and the third one will have a ribbon holding the signature to the spine.
