Nong Khiaw Viewpoint

Please note buses that leave from Nong Kiaw to Luang Prabang leave at 8:30am and 11am. Journey takes between 3.5-4 hrs. And the fare is 80,000 Kip or about $5. However if you missed these buses you still have a chance to catch van or buses that coming from Huaphan or Vang Xieng to Luang Prabang pass Nong Kiaw. Hi folks, NatNomad here. An ex-Buddhist monk from Laos with a big dream of seeing the world. Throughout my time for over 10 years being a monk I kept asking myself one question "What life is like out there beyond the monastery?" and because of this question alone made me take a big step in 2014 when I finally said goodbye to my wonderful monastic life.
