Hey everybody, it’s Jeff from Nu Yawk! Today we’re taking a full tour of the newly upgraded Save-A-Lot Market in Atlantic City, part of the massive renovation happening at Renaissance Plaza. This store is getting a huge expansion — growing from a basic discount grocery store into a full-service supermarket with more fresh produce, expanded aisles, upgraded refrigeration, better lighting, and a safer, modernized shopping experience. The CRDA and Moran Foods are investing nearly $20 million into this project, transforming the area and keeping the store open during construction so residents don’t lose vital grocery access. This is a big deal for a city that has long struggled with food-desert conditions, and today we’re walking through the entire site to show you what’s changing and what the future holds.
