The 7 Essential Foundry VTT Add-On Modules - January 2025 Edition
Just picked up Foundry and intimidated by all of the add-on modules available? Or are you a seasoned veteran looking for a fresh start with the New Year? Either way, we've got you covered with the most essential modules for Foundry Virtual Tabletop - January 2025 edition! We chose these 7 modules on 3 key criteria to find what we consider to be the true "essentials" out of our long list of beloved modules. Easy to pick up: All of these modules may have depth beneath the surface, but you can install them and be off to the races immediately. Broad System Support: Every module is either truly system agnostic, or has system specific variants for most Foundry RPG systems. Broad GAME Support: Not every table (or system) is all about combat or battlemaps. Sometimes it's roleplaying, political intrigue and theatre of the mind. These modules help support all flavors of play. We've also included some honorable mentions that don't fit the above categories perfectly, but are so good that they're worth calling out if you haven't checked them out before.
