Their premier title had blossomed into a massive IP, with its main character Sackboy becoming a pseudo-mascot for the PlayStation brand throughout the 2010s. And as the team prepared for the PlayStation 4 generation, they had another big new idea. A big new idea they hoped would elevate their signature user created content to the next level. But over the coming decade, this dream would soon turn into a never ending nightmare, leaving the once revered developer as a shell of their former selves, stuck facing an uncertain future.
