Raag Chaandanee ToDee

DaagarvaaNee-style dhrupad aalaap, plus a sargam demonstration of the basic chalan (ascending and descending movement) of the raag, which I discovered / created some months ago. S r g m D N S' S' n D P, mP PD Dn DP, D m g r, r g r S The 'Chaandanee' part of the name points to the 'crescent moon shaped' musical phrase "mP PD Dn DP", inspired by the exact same phrase in Raag Chaandanee Kedaar, a traditional raag. Normally, P is skipped in the ascent, but this special phrase allows it 😁. The raag also shares many similarities with the adjacent Raag SalagvaraaLee ToDee: the main difference being that the latter doesn't have any Ma.
