Oscar Shumsky - Brahms Violin Concerto (part 1 of 5)

The great American violinist, student of Auer and Zimbalist, with Mariss Jansons and the BBC Welsh Symphony Orchestra, in a Royal Albert Hall 'Prom' concert, in 1987. Here, he was using his Enrico Rocca violin, rather than his 'Rode' (also known as 'Duke Of Cambridge') Stradivarius. Shumsky taught me to be a better teacher.
