AirPods Pro 3 vs AirPods Pro 2: what sounds different

Apple just unveiled the new AirPods Pro 3 at Apple Park in Cupertino. In this video I compare AirPods Pro 3 vs AirPods Pro 2 and share hands on impressions of the sound, noise cancellation, fit, and live translation feature. I was at Apple Park right next to the Steve Jobs Theater for the announcement and compared the AirPods Pro 3 directly with the AirPods Pro 2 using my reference track, Cory Wong’s Starship Syncopation. The differences stood out immediately. Noise cancellation is far stronger, making it easier to hear details even in a loud room. The bass is tighter and the highs are brighter. The new foam ear tips feel secure and comfortable, while transparency mode is so natural it feels like nothing is in your ears. The feature that surprised me most is live translation. I tested it with a Spanish speaker and instantly heard perfect English in my ears. It felt emotional to experience that kind of connection in real time. Between the redesigned airflow system, upgraded sound, and breakthrough translation, the AirPods Pro 3 feel like a major leap forward. This is my full hands on review and first impressions, and why I think the AirPods Pro 3 may be Apple’s most important audio product yet. 00:00 Behind the scenes 01:25 My first listen 03:28 My deeper dive 04:54 Live translation 06:55 Wrap up My reference track:    • Starship Syncopation   More about me: https://dallastaylor.com This video series grew out of my Webby and Ambie Award-winning podcast, Twenty Thousand Hertz, where we’ve spent a decade uncovering the stories behind the world’s most recognizable and interesting sounds.
