Escort XR3 Vs Escort RS1600i, Cortina, Mini Battles Race 1 BRANDS HATCH GP SUPER TOURING POWER

*In association with www.lavantstraightclassics.co.uk* First race out in our new Escort XR3, hadn't turned a wheel in anger in around 4/5 years before this event. Had a great early race battle with Anton Martin's Escort RS1600i, then with a Lotus Cortina and later in the race an incredibly wide Mini. Hadn't raced front wheel drive since my first race car (another XR3) at Cadwell Park in September 2019, took a bit of adjusting back! But torque steer is a lot of fun! Thumbnail Photo by Pat Cranham
