The trailer for Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Digger just dropped, and oh boy, it looks batshit crazy! The Birdman and The Revenant director is back with another black comedy, and Digger appears to channel the same surreal, unhinged vibe as Birdman, albeit with a grimmer, more apocalyptic tone. I mean, I watched the trailer a couple of times on loop, and my reaction the entire time was... what the actual beep is happening?! Yeah, I'm not allowed to curse, guys! Anyway, I gather you get the sentiment. By the looks of it, Digger is going to be an out-and-out wild, entertaining watch, and maybe, just maybe, it might get Tom Cruise another Oscar nomination.
