Located in the province of Sullana, department of Piura, this farm has developed a robust genetic improvement program based on the hardiness of the native Peruvian sheep, but genetically enhanced with the Dorper and Santa Inés breeds. The goal? To develop sheep with higher meat productivity in less time. These crosses allow for the development of sheep with a higher feed conversion ratio, as is the case with the Dorper. Similarly, they utilize the maternal ability and parasite resistance of the Santa Inés breed.
