In this video, I'll tell you that Zapatero testified for more than three hours before the judge of the National Court investigating the alleged crimes he committed by facilitating the bailout of the Plus Ultra airline, granted by Pedro Sánchez's government. The former Socialist leader arrived at the National Court at 8:49 a.m., just minutes after his lawyer, Víctor Moreno Catena. According to legal sources who spoke to Libertad Digital, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has asked Judge Calama to impose precautionary measures on former President Zapatero. The private prosecutions brought by the People's Party (PP) and Citizens have joined in this request. However, the PP's lawyer, who is leading the unified private prosecution, explained that the other four private prosecutions are in favor of Zapatero's pretrial detention. These are: Vox, Iustitia Europa, Hazte Oír, and Liberum. The former Socialist leader only answered questions from the investigating magistrate and his defense attorney, declining to answer questions from the Public Prosecutor's Office and the private prosecution.
