In Urahoro Town in eastern Hokkaido, a dirt road runs along the coastline eroded by rough waves. Standing at the Kobukariishi Observatory, I gazed up at the expansive sky and overlooked the Pacific coast. I passed Golden Falls, Madoiwa Rock, and drove through the Atsunai Tunnel. My heart gradually felt filled along this coastal road.
