Waterproof Jute Fire Starter
This is a pretty handy fire starter that is easy to make, very inexpensive, lights very easily with a ferro rod, and it completely waterproof. Basically, it is braided jute twine saturated in candle wax and mounted inside a metal tube for ease of use.
