Matthew 13:5-6, 20-21 'Another part fell on rocky ground, where it had not much soil; and it sprang up immediately, because it had no depth of soil. And when the sun had risen, it scorched; and because it had no root, it withered. But the one sown on rocky ground is he who hears the Word and immediately receives it with joy.
