G2G Full Route Goderich to Guelph June 2021

Two SRCC club riders ride the G2G Rail Trail from Goderich to Guelph on June 12, 2021. The Maitland River bypass was ridden adding 10k to the route and some nice scenery. There were a few snack stops along the way and a sit down lunch at Zehr's Country Market in Millbank. Door to door was just under 8 hours. The in-saddle pedal time was 6 hours and 17 minutes. Average speed was 24.5 kph for most of the route, but dropped through the circuitous route of the Guelph Trailway. At the very end of the video is a visiting couple who were lost on their way back from the Kissing Bridge Trailway and needed to be guided back to where they started at the covered bridge.
