We are now unbelievably close to the finish line, but as anyone who has ever taken on a major build will know, the final few percent can feel like the hardest part of the entire journey. In this episode, Tom takes you behind the scenes of the final push to complete The Firs, from endless snagging lists and frustrating delays, to huge landscaping progress, stunning interiors and some seriously exciting finishing touches. The hoarding finally comes down, the front façade is revealed, the showroom lighting is live, wallpaper and furniture are going in, and for the first time you can truly start to see the vision becoming reality. From the chandelier in reception, to the detailing bays, the photo studio, the client lounge and the landscaping works, this episode captures the moment where The Firs transforms from a construction site into something very special. But it has not all been smooth sailing… There are conversations about the pressures of delays, the stress of trying to move a growing business into an unfinished building, and the obsession with getting every single detail absolutely perfect, even down to vents, lights and access panels being millimetres out of line.
