Green Busweek Day 5: Transdev NSW BYD D9RA (Volgren Optimus)

For the final day of Busweek 8, I reviewed an electric bus that REALLY impressed me. The BYD D9RA with a Volgren Optimus body, from Transdev NSW. I also spent a good hour onboard, having travelled from the Macquarie Centre to Chatswood, via just about everything possible. What impressed me most is the combination of comfort, quality and power, and whilst it wasn't as quiet as the Yutong, it had a pretty cool, Cyberpunk like sound. If electric buses can be this good now, I can't wait to see how good the technology will be in a couple of years time. Thanks for joining me for the Green Busweek series, and i'll see you again soon!
