Mounting Bird Eating Tarantulas
So many of you have asked how I actually preserve and mount the spiders. So I decided to make a short film that shows the entire process from rehydrating to mounting the specimens with a description of all of my steps in between. I hope you find this interesting and entertaining. These spiders, I personally have hunted them in the Amazon jungle more than 20 years ago. I accidentally accidentally leave them in the field and brought them back dead dried preserved with their bodies all carefully tucked together with their legs to prevent any type of damage and now this process shows how I display them out without damaging them.
