David Krakauer feat. by WDR BIG BAND - Si tu vois ma mère

New Yorker David Krakauer is a classical musician by birth, but he is at least as close to klezmer music and jazz. And Krakauer would not be himself if he didn't also incorporate elements of the avant-garde, hip hop and electronic music. He has become internationally known as a member of the band "Klezmatics", but he also maintains some (different) own band projects. For the first time he meets the WDR Big Band under the direction of Chris Byars with his energetic music. Rehearsal of the WDR Big Band for the concert "Klezmer & Beyond" at the International Jazz Festival Viersen: David Krakauer plays the tune "Si tu vois ma mère" by Sidney Bechet together with the WDR Big Band under the direction of Chris Byars. David Krakauer (clarinet) and Paul Shigihara (electric guitar) play solos. The arrangement was made by Chris Byars. Produced at WDR Studio 4 Cologne (September 2015).
