When I plugged in the refrigerator, only the light was on, while the compressor wouldn't turn on or turn on, and there was no cooling at all. In the case I encountered, the owner of this single-door Aqua refrigerator complained that the refrigerator wasn't cooling inside and wouldn't make ice, even though the light was on. I then tried replacing the refrigerator's PTC overload switch, but the compressor still wouldn't work and tended to draw high amperage, so the refrigerator still wouldn't cool even when it was on.
