BC Ferries - Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen (Coastal Celebration)

This is a ride on board BC Ferries' Coastal Celebration, on the Victoria - Vancouver (Swartz Bay - Tsawwassen) route. Filmed in the late-morning and early afternoon on March 8th, 2021. On board we explore the ship and get a chance to view the spectacular scenery of the Gulf Islands and distant mountains on the mainland, including Mount Baker in Washington State. Subtitles are included for each major island and their associated ferry terminals. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and subsequently fewer travellers, the lounges and passageways on Deck 5 were closed for this sailing, as were the Video Game arcade and Childrens' play area. The Coastal Celebration was built in late-2007 to replace older 'V' class vessels in the fleet, along with her earlier two sisters (Both of which are seen in this video; Coastal Renaissance at Swartz Bay, and Coastal Inspiration at Tsawwassen).
