Today we take a short motorbike ride out to the rice fields with my Thai wife’s mother — our Isaan grandma — to see how close the jasmine rice is to being ready for harvest. 🌾 This is real Thai village life in rural Isaan, far away from the tourist spots. We check the water levels, look at the rice color, and even do a bit of clearing work around the land.
