石廊崎沖のスルメイカ釣り　ジミ乗りでもパラダイス♪

September 2025: Squid fishing off Cape Irozaki. The boat was the Hidemaru from Ose Port. After the rough weather at the beginning of September, the water was no longer as heavy, but we still got bites when we lowered our bait, and the squid we caught were even bigger, so squid paradise♪ was still going strong. The tide was still low in the first half of the day, and the water was clear, so the squid didn't seem to adapt to the current. Still, we got bites when we lowered our bait, although not many. Most of the bites were from the bottom. There were a few mid-water bites in the middle, but these died out fairly quickly, and by the time our rig arrived, the bites were often gradually shifting to bottom bites. Towards the end, the tide changed to two layers, so we only made one turn. I caught 42 squid, but maybe because I usually fish for more mundane squid, I enjoyed it more than the catch (lol).
