Esplorazione del pozzo della Locanda dei Gelsi (-77,40 m / 252 feet)

Thanks to the collaboration between the Speleo Club Saluzzo SCS “F. Costa ”CAI section Monviso, the CAI Varallo speleological group and the Teses speleo-archaeological association was conducted the study of the well located inside the 'Locanda dei Gelsi' in Villar San Costanzo, in the province of Cuneo. The cavity, an artificial well of over seventy meters, is an impressive work, born from the human brain, that led the workers to descend into the conglomerate until reaching the aquifer that would have fed the water intake.
