It seems straightforward enough, fastening a load of equipment down securely, just throw on a few straps or a couple of chains and away you go. Unfortunately, a piece of poorly fastened equipment, chunk of ice or clay, or weak chain or strap can result in your worst nightmare. Whether large or small, as the operator, you need to make sure what you're hauling is secured correctly. It's the law and the fines for sloppy or incorrect securement can be a shocker.
