BAD BUYS - 9 Items We REFUSE to Resell on EBAY (And the Stuff That Still Sells)

Our eBay Store: https://ebay.us/RGj1W6 Check out our other social media and product links: https://linktr.ee/shedflips Two full-time eBay resellers walk through 9 categories of items we used to buy, learned the hard way, and now refuse to resell — plus the stuff we still buy every chance we get and a hangout day of order pulls in between. This started as a viewer question from Mary Beth G in the comments — she asked us to talk about the bad buys we have made over the years and the things we will never buy again to resell. We answer it with real examples pulled out of our own shed and our own past mistakes. Bad buys we cover include drugstore HBA and cosmetics (expiration-date headaches and slow movement), DVD VCR combos (about a 50 percent fail rate when we test them and a ton of after-sale problems), cheap children's shoes (we made a big buy we still regret), trophies (used to sell, now mostly do not), coffee mugs (we think the insulated tumbler trend has eaten the market), random movie and DVD lots, vinyl records in poor or scratched condition, anything that puts your eBay account at risk like firearm parts and police or government patches, and delicate figurines without their original packaging. On the other side of the question we tell you what we still chase every weekend — package action figures, comic books, reel-to-reel tapes, vinyl in clean condition, and the right kind of specialty DVD lot. In between the bad-buys conversation we are also pulling that day's eBay orders so you get the usual Shed Flips hangout — Lounge Fly backpacks, a Howard the Duck LaserDisc, a USS John C. Stennis Navy ball cap, two Russ Berrie Christmas Nutcrackers If you have ever wondered what items full-time resellers actually stop buying after years of sourcing, what categories cause the most after-sale problems on eBay, what things to walk past at a garage sale or estate sale, or what is still worth chasing in 2023 and beyond, this is the long one. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Monday morning in the shed - slow weekend, 20 orders to pull 01:30 Backgammon game pull 02:50 Lounge Fly Buzz Lightyear backpack 04:00 USS John C.
