Trout & Kokanee Fishing at Eleven Mile Reservoir + Dream Stream

Today’s adventure takes us out to Eleven Mile Reservoir and the legendary Dream Stream here in beautiful Colorado. I showed up to the lake earlier than planned, so I decided to toss a quick line in before meeting up with "Big D" from the F.A.D.E.D. Channel. Within minutes, I hooked into two trout back-to-back — the bite was on fire! After that early action, I loaded up the truck to pick up D and try to pick up where I left off. Unfortunately, the wind kicked up and the bite slowed way down, but we made the most of it — the F.A.D.E.D. crew threw down an awesome brunch lakeside, and we wrapped up the day fishing the Dream Stream in search of those bright red Kokanee salmon. It was incredible watching the salmon run in full color, even though we didn’t manage to land one this time. That’s fishing — some days it’s red hot, some days it’s a grind, but every trip’s an adventure.
