I wanted to let this movie sit for awhile, because when I first watched it in theaters and put out a review, I gave this movie a 10, because I haven’t been as blown away by the performances, by the horror, by how thought-provoking this movie is for a really long time, in fact I wasn’t even gonna make a video because I feel like everything that could possibly be said about this movie has already been said. There’s of course all the fan theories, some of which are good, others are not and have been debunked by Curry Barker himself. Am I gonna dive deep into the themes and messages and what they represent? Am I gonna talk about how weirdly personal this movie felt and go into things I only talk about in therapy, no I’m not gonna do that.
