RWS Rifle Match R50 R100 Anschutz 1913 BR

Shooting RWS today. Rifle Match, R50 and R100. The main thing I wanted to see was the 'drop' at 75 and 100 yards (with a sight in at 50 yards). I used Rifle Match. The results were a little bit less than the ballistic tables I looked at. Also on the second target the supersonic R100 was a bit less drop than the subsonic R50 at 100 yards. Both results were as expected but still good to see first hand. The day had gusts of wind through out. Seemed like 10-15 MPH gusts, and semi-steady winds of 5-7 MPH. I tried to wait these out as much as I could but often had to shoot through them. Also, (since I'm leaning towards excuses), the portable bench works, but it wobbles and is difficult to steady, feeling spindly all the time. I tried to compensate first with a heavy touch then a light touch on the rifle and rests. I couldn't decide if one method was any better than the other. I shot through this mild hindrance as well. Finishing off with 40 yard targets made for a good morning. As always, regardless of results, a day shooting is always a good day!
