Honestly, when traveling, it is usually bound to be one or two restaurants that leave something to be desired, but surprisingly, there wasn't a single disappointing spot on this trip to Goseong. The spicy steamed fish I tasted at Nokwon Restaurant, with its old-fashioned exterior that looks like something out of a fairy tale; The crispy Japanese-style pork cutlet and rich Nagasaki Champon at Umauma Restaurant; The grilled fish at Eobu Bapsang, which perfectly captured the flavors of the Goseong sea; and finally, the warm Abai Sundaeguk at Sokcho Market, which put the finishing touch on the trip. I am introducing the restaurants in Goseong and Sokcho, Gangwon-do, exactly as they were, the ones I personally tasted and marveled at during my 3-day, 2-night stay.
