Dinosaurs at the 50's Diner | Peggy Sue's Diner

This gem in the desert is the oldest diner in California on Route 66. We stopped for breakfast and soaked up the nostalgic decor as well as quite a few carbs! This is a must-stop for any journey along Interstate 15. In addition to the diner, there's a wonderful five-and-dime shop (complete with soda fountain) plus a lovely outdoor dinosaur park (please don't feed the diner-saurs!) We are on a permanent road trip with the goal of eating food all over the country and bringing reviews to you. Come along with us as we sample new cuisine and try many local and regional corporate restaurants along the way.
