Contemporary armed conflicts are redefining the concept of health security, forcing a complete rethinking of treatment. Professor Marcin Czech and Lieutenant General Professor Grzegorz Gielerak discussed the lessons learned from the war in Ukraine, the necessary improvements to the healthcare system (and beyond), the critical list of medications, and the threats posed by disruptions to global supply chains. They also explained why, in the event of a threat, civilian and military healthcare must immediately form an inseparable monolith.
