Hello, friends! During the week, I visited the Struma River in the section between the bridge near the village of Zelen Dol and the village of Belo Pole. I fished for chub exclusively using the WildFishLures 3.5 g inline spinner with a silver blade, and I also caught two fish on the Yarie Blender – 3.5 g, also with a silver blade. I covered a fairly large section of the river, and before noon, I came across a pool with a surprising number of chub. There, I managed to catch a very nice fish of around 40 cm. Further upstream, there were also decent "sporting" size chub, and a real surprise in one of the rapids was that I hooked a nice nase on the spinner. In some sections, the fish were right at the beginning of the pools, while in others, they were along the rocky bank in the shallows, under the trees, or behind rocks. The tackle I used: Graphite Cast S682UL rod, SHIMANO Stradic 2500 S HG FM reel, YGK X-Braid Upgrade X8 150m (PE 0.8, 16lb) line, and a 0.16 fluorocarbon leader. https://akulataflyfishing.com/home/33...
