Take the stuff out of the drum, remove the external muffling, simplify the drumhead configuration, and dial in the tuning relationship between batter and reso. This week, we’re going wide open and LOW for bass drum tuning and experimenting with batter vs. reso pitch relationships as we explore one of our favorite styles of bass drum sounds.
