Como co-fundador del Coloquio Internacional de las religiones afroamericanas, del Instituto Cubano de Antropologia, de conjunto con Rafael Robaina su director acordamos la combinación del evento teorico con la presentación en vivo de los llamados grupos portadores en cada Coloquio. En ocasión de la XI edición en Mayo del 2016, asistimos a la presentación del Cabildo Ile de Ocha dirigido por el Sacerdote de origen chino Francisco Ung Villanueva Rey. Conocido por "el Chinito" este hombre es uno de las leyendas vivientes de la religion afrocubana y cuando lo escuchemos sabremos por que.
