"C.G. Jung & the Metamorphosis of the World". Prof. Zoja in conversation with Stefano Carpani
Professor Luigi Zoja and I met in his studio in Milan in December 2017. Our conversation focused on C.G. Jung and his relevance today. We discussed - following a current sociological trend (Beck, 2017) - the "Metamorphosis of the World" and the fact that “the world is out of joint and it has gone mad”. Therefore, we looked back at the very first years of psychoanalysis, and we reminded ourselves that ‘the founders felt themselves to be social critics as much as personal therapists’ (Samuels, 2001).
