A classified military vehicle program is at risk of being exposed. Two next-generation amphibious prototypes are undergoing final testing at a remote reservoir when mission planners discover a serious problem: a visiting Defense Minister is approaching the island aboard a surveillance-equipped Hawkeye aircraft. Unfortunately, the flight path passes directly over the test site. With the Hawkeye's cameras broadcasting live throughout the flight, authorities cannot risk the prototypes being seen before the program is officially unveiled. An MC-130 amphibious transport is immediately tasked with conducting an emergency extraction. With no time to waste, the aircraft must water-land at the reservoir, recover the vehicles, and depart before the surveillance aircraft reaches visual range.
