Leo’s Grand Adventures | S5a E30 | Morebus 1a (Market Day Diversion)

Season 5a Episode 30 In today’s episode, I go on the 1a from Bournemouth to Christchurch and Somerford via the Market Day Diversion on Fountain Way. Buses I had for the 1a were 236 (HF18 CHD) and 2272 (HF12 GWU) which is a Volvo B7RLE Wright Eclipse 2 based at Bournemouth Bus Depot. The Christchurch Market is held weekly every Monday in the town of Christchurch, Dorset from 09:00am to 16:00pm on the high street featuring around 50 stalls offering local produce, fashion, fish and household goods. Buses that serve Christchurch Town Centre including the 1a, 1b, 1c, X1, X2, 24, 33 and 125 are then diverted via Fountain Way towards the Stony Lane Roundabout with the 1b and 125 rejoining their current route towards Burton and the 1a, 1c, X1, X2 and 33 use Stony Lane towards Somerford Sainsbury’s and Two Riversmeet Centre.
