505) "Казахстан-26". НАС БОЛЬШЕ ЕСТЬ! Зенит – ЧЕМПИОН 25/26! Обзор астанинского метро и путь в Омск.

Kazakhstan-26 was one of Seva Pokatushkin's most important and decisive trips (along with Vesna-22, SKS-23, and DVP-25). It took place from May 1 to June 1, 2026, and went down in history as his first trip with a girlfriend. For a long time, it was believed that trains were such a niche hobby that no girl would be interested in sharing it. Kazakhstan-26 put an end to this self-defeating myth once and for all! Among other things, during Kazakhstan-26, I traveled through familiar places from SKS-23 in a new way, explored the Spanish Talgo high-speed train (very disappointed), went on many spontaneous rides, met up again with Maya Amiro from Atyrau... but most importantly, I explored the line to Aisary, tested the legendary ER22 electric train, photographed my dad's hometown, visited Novosibirsk twice during one part of the trip, bought a MIDI keyboard, stopped by Sterlitamak again, had a wonderful ride through Volgograd with Vyacheslav Leontyev, had a wonderful walk through Moscow in May... and, at the end of the trip, I rode with long-time subscriber Roman Vikulin, and also transited through... BELARUS!!! This particular episode was filmed on the evening of May 17 and morning of May 18, 2026. During it, I survey the Astana metro, cry over my fears for Zenit... and CELEBRATE the final championship on May 25/26!
